We know if we take care of the land, the land will take care of us. We’ve been practicing sustainable farming methods since our early farming days – not only for the good of the earth, but for the good of our customers and communities too. We’ve found that crops simply grow better this way, both in quality and consistency.
We pioneered a method of drip irrigation for our peppers in the early 1980s, long before it became popular. At our headquarters in Gilroy, our coolers, packing facility and offices run on solar power. We take care of our soil, our water and our air. We’re constantly looking for ways to improve sustainability in the way we farm. We don’t do these things for accolades. We do these things because we care.
